 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville.  65-YEAR-OLD BENUE CHIEFTAIN SURPRISES NEW WIFE WITH CAR ON INDEPENDENCE DAY

Chief Atsenda Ishwa, 65, national president of the Ior-Jemgbagh Development Association, gifted his new wife, Mrs. Kpamkwase Atsenda, a Toyota car on October 1st during Nigeria’s Independence Day celebration.


The Gboko-based businesswoman, 36, expressed joy on social media, describing her husband as “a father, uncle, and husband in one.” She added: “As e dey pain them, e dey sweet us.”


Mrs. Atsenda revealed she met Chief Ishwa while he mediated a dispute with a friend. She said she chose him because of the peace and love she found, insisting that age is “just a number.”


Chief Ishwa, who personally delivered the car, said: “God has given me a caring daughter as a wife.”
