Marilyn Manson's sexual assault case by former assistant reinstated under new California law A previously dismissed sexual assault case against Marilyn Manson, filed by former assistant Ashley Walters, was revived Monday in Los Angeles Superior Court under a new California law extending the statute of limitations for certain sexual abuse claims. Judge Steve Cochran granted Walters’ motion for reconsideration, vacating his December 2025 ruling that had dismissed the case and allowing it to proceed toward trial. The original suit, first filed in 2021, accused Manson, whose legal name is Brian Warner, of sexual harassment, sexual battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and wrongful termination based on her time working for him in 2010–2011. Previous attempts to move the case forward were blocked because the claims were made years after the alleged incidents, with courts initially ruling that the delayed discovery doctrine did not apply. Bridgerton returns Jan. 29 with two-part Season 4 release


Netflix has announced that Part 1 of Bridgerton Season 4 will debut on January 29, marking the return of the beloved Regency-era drama. The streaming platform released a 44-second teaser on Monday, offering a glimpse of the show’s next romantic chapter.

“With each passing season, one is known to experience plenty of ups and downs,” narrates Lady Whistledown, voiced by Julie Andrews. “So then we must ask ourselves, do we rise to the occasion? As always, time, and this author, will tell.” The eight-episode season draws inspiration from Julia Quinn’s novel An Offer from a Gentleman and introduces viewers to the story of Benedict Bridgerton (Luke Thompson) and Sophie Baek (Yerin Ha). The teaser shows the pair’s fleeting encounter at a masquerade ball, followed by a single cream-colored glove left behind — hinting at a Cinderella-inspired romance.

Thompson described the season as a “twist on Cinderella,” emphasizing how its magical and romantic elements blend naturally into the Bridgerton universe. Returning cast members include Jonathan Bailey, Simone Ashley, Nicola Coughlan, Adjoa Andoh, Claudia Jessie, and Golda Rosheuvel, among many others. Bridgerton Season 4 will continue with Part 2, set to premiere February 26 on Netflix.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
