 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots. Bridgerton returns Jan. 29 with two-part Season 4 release


Netflix has announced that Part 1 of Bridgerton Season 4 will debut on January 29, marking the return of the beloved Regency-era drama. The streaming platform released a 44-second teaser on Monday, offering a glimpse of the show’s next romantic chapter.

“With each passing season, one is known to experience plenty of ups and downs,” narrates Lady Whistledown, voiced by Julie Andrews. “So then we must ask ourselves, do we rise to the occasion? As always, time, and this author, will tell.” The eight-episode season draws inspiration from Julia Quinn’s novel An Offer from a Gentleman and introduces viewers to the story of Benedict Bridgerton (Luke Thompson) and Sophie Baek (Yerin Ha). The teaser shows the pair’s fleeting encounter at a masquerade ball, followed by a single cream-colored glove left behind — hinting at a Cinderella-inspired romance.

Thompson described the season as a “twist on Cinderella,” emphasizing how its magical and romantic elements blend naturally into the Bridgerton universe. Returning cast members include Jonathan Bailey, Simone Ashley, Nicola Coughlan, Adjoa Andoh, Claudia Jessie, and Golda Rosheuvel, among many others. Bridgerton Season 4 will continue with Part 2, set to premiere February 26 on Netflix.
