Actor Max Ehrich, formerly engaged to Demi Lovato, was arrested in Florida on allegations of domestic violence involving a family member. Authorities charged Ehrich with battery on a person 65 or older, and he was released from jail on Wednesday after posting $1,000 bond.
The arrest follows concerning behavior earlier in the day, when Ehrich appeared on Instagram Live, acting erratically and posting cryptic messages. He went live multiple times with his mother present, though it is unclear whether she is the family member involved in the incident.
Ehrich is best known for his role as Fenmore Baldwin on The Young and the Restless, appearing in 120 episodes. He also has film credits, including High School Musical 3: Senior Year, Southern Gospel, and A Cowboy Christmas Romance. Ehrich was engaged to Demi Lovato in 2020 after a four-month relationship, but the engagement ended in September of that year. Representatives for Ehrich and his mother have not commented on the arrest.
