 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean.  DSS Alerts Public Over Activities Of Dismissed Officer, Victor Godwin


The Department of State Services (DSS) has issued a public warning concerning the activities of Victor Onyedikachi Godwin, a former officer dismissed from the Service.


In a statement released on Monday, the DSS disclosed that Godwin has been impersonating the Service and defrauding unsuspecting members of the public by falsely claiming to represent the agency.


“The public is hereby advised to avoid any dealings with Mr. Godwin, as he no longer has any connection with the Service,” the statement read.


The DSS urged individuals with complaints, enquiries, or relevant information to reach out directly through 09088373515 or via email at dsspr@dss.gov.ng.


The Service reaffirmed its commitment to safeguarding national security and ensuring that impostors are held accountable for their actions.
