 Aguiyi Orders Investigation into Trans Nkisi Mining Site Over Environmental Compliance By Amaka Isikala The Anambra State Commissioner for Environment, Dr. Clem Aguiyi, has ordered an investigation into the environmental compliance status of a mining site at Trans Nkisi, Onitsha, following concerns over extensive land degradation and its possible contribution to the growing gully erosion threatening the community. The directive followed an inspection visit to the site on August 1, during which the commissioner was accompanied by leaders of the Trans Nkisi community. The visit formed part of the ministry's ongoing assessment of environmentally sensitive locations across the state in line with Governor Chukwuma Soludo's Fifth Pillar of Development, Environment and Urban Regeneration.  First Lady Oluremi Tinubu Urges Women To Prioritize Health Awareness On Breast Cancer Month


Nigeria’s First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu wants  women to prioritize their health by warding off breast cancer through early detection, regular self-examination and timely medical screening.


This is in her message marking  Breast Cancer Awareness month, 2025.


She calls on women to work together in raising awareness, supporting survivors, and encouraging one another to take proactive steps for a better health.
