 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville.  GOVERNOR SOLUDO CELEBRATES ARCHBISHOP VALERIAN MADUKA OKEKE ON HIS BIRTHDAY


The Governor of Anambra State, Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, CFR, has conveyed his earnest felicitations to His Grace, the Most Rev. Dr. Valerian Maduka Okeke, the Archbishop of the Metropolitan See of Onitsha, on the occasion of his birthday today, October 20th.


Governor Soludo, in his goodwill message, described Archbishop Okeke as a towering pillar of faith, a bastion of hope, and a quintessential embodiment of the spirit of excellence, integrity, and service to God and mankind.


The Governor eulogised the Archbishop for his over two decades of dynamic leadership at the helm of the Onitsha Archdiocese. He noted that under Archbishop Okeke’s spiritual guidance, the Church has witnessed remarkable growth, not only in faith but also in its commitment to education, healthcare, and humanitarian services, which have profoundly impacted the lives of countless citizens.


Governor Soludo further highlighted the Archbishop’s steadfast partnership and support for the State Government’s initiatives, particularly in fostering unity, moral rejuvenation, and  development agenda for a liveable and prosperous homeland.


Therefore, Governor Soludo celebrates Archbishop Valerian Maduka Okeke on his 72nd birthday, wishing him longer life, abundant health, and continued divine wisdom and strength to continue his sacred ministry.
