Marilyn Manson's sexual assault case by former assistant reinstated under new California law A previously dismissed sexual assault case against Marilyn Manson, filed by former assistant Ashley Walters, was revived Monday in Los Angeles Superior Court under a new California law extending the statute of limitations for certain sexual abuse claims. Judge Steve Cochran granted Walters’ motion for reconsideration, vacating his December 2025 ruling that had dismissed the case and allowing it to proceed toward trial. The original suit, first filed in 2021, accused Manson, whose legal name is Brian Warner, of sexual harassment, sexual battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and wrongful termination based on her time working for him in 2010–2011. Previous attempts to move the case forward were blocked because the claims were made years after the alleged incidents, with courts initially ruling that the delayed discovery doctrine did not apply. As the political atmosphere intensifies, defections here and there, various persons have started giving out their ill feelings about the 2027 election, saying they have lost hope and may not trust the process.


One of those is Aisha Yusuf a strong supporter of Peter obi, in her statement she said there is no trust in INEC to deliver a credible election come 2027, and no doubt those who rigged the previous election will do the same again.

Her post on X reads:


"I do not have any faith that INEC is going to do the right thing, Neither do I have faith that the judiciary or security agencies will do the right thing!In fact I expect plain rigging and violence to be unleashed by those who rigged before"


"What I am very certain of is that IF Nigerians DECIDE THAT NO JUPITER WILL RIG THEIR VOTES, I CAN ASSURE YOU THAT NOT A SINGLE VITE WILL BE RIGGED!!!!"


"Any person that wants to rig the election will be treated as a terrorist.My hope is in citizens voting and ensuring their votes are counted and recorded for their candidates."

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
