 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. ‘I was a member of Illuminati’ – Singer Seyi Shay confesses


Nigerian singer, Deborah Oluwaseyi Joshua, popularly known as Seyi Shay, has revealed she was once a member of the Illuminati.

While there have long been rumours about some Nigerian celebrities being affiliated with the controversial secret society, Seyi Shay’s disclosure marks one of the few times an artist has publicly confirmed such ties.

Speaking on the OffAir Podcast with Gbemi and Toolz, the ‘Yolo Yolo’ crooner revealed that her involvement with the Illuminati was a phase in her career.

“That’s when I was in the Illuminati. That’s when I joined the Illuminati. That’s when it was official. Do you understand? I was an Illuminati member,” she said.

She further explained that while fans may not know much about such connections, people within the entertainment industry often recognize those who were once linked to the group.

“It’s not the fans, guys. It’s the people in the industry… the ones who work with me, work with her, work with that one,” she added.
