 IGP DISU PAYS OPERATIONAL VISIT TO  AKWA IBOM, PRESIDES OVER PASSING-OUT CEREMONY OF 1,068 RETRAINED CONSTABLES The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM, today, 30th April 2026, undertook an official visit to Akwa Ibom State, where he paid a courtesy call on the Executive Governor, His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno, ahead of the passing-out ceremony of retrained Police Constables in Uyo. Nikolas Ukachukwu the Governorship candidate for the All progressives Congress APC, has reaffirmed his commitment to fostering stronger collaboration between Anambra State and the Federal Government if elected governor. He reaffirmed this during his interactive session with BBC News Igbo 


Ukachukwu stated that with the All Progressives Congress (APC) currently leading at the national level, his administration would leverage that relationship to pursue strategic infrastructural development, including the deepening of the River Niger at Onitsha.


According to him, dredging the waterway to allow ships access into the Southeast will open new economic opportunities, enhance regional commerce, and create a more enabling environment not only for the people of Anambra State but for the entire Igbo nation.


He emphasized that unlocking the maritime potential of the River Niger remains a key priority in his development agenda for ndi Anambra.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
