Marilyn Manson's sexual assault case by former assistant reinstated under new California law A previously dismissed sexual assault case against Marilyn Manson, filed by former assistant Ashley Walters, was revived Monday in Los Angeles Superior Court under a new California law extending the statute of limitations for certain sexual abuse claims. Judge Steve Cochran granted Walters’ motion for reconsideration, vacating his December 2025 ruling that had dismissed the case and allowing it to proceed toward trial. The original suit, first filed in 2021, accused Manson, whose legal name is Brian Warner, of sexual harassment, sexual battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and wrongful termination based on her time working for him in 2010–2011. INEC Accredits 121 Observers for Anambra Governorship Election


The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has accredited a total of 121 domestic and international observer groups to monitor the upcoming Anambra State governorship election.


According to INEC, the accreditation covers both local and foreign organisations committed to ensuring transparency, credibility, and fairness during the electoral process.


The Commission emphasized that the presence of these observers will help strengthen public confidence in the election, as they are expected to assess the conduct of the poll and provide objective reports on their findings.
