  A manhunt is underway for man who shot a Granite City Police Officer multiple times. Officers in Granite City, Illinois, responded to a call regarding a unwanted subject near the 2000 block of Johnson Road at 2:20 p.m. on Friday, December 5th. Upon arrival, officers attempted to make contact with the suspect. The suspect opened fire on officers before fleeing the scene.  Unfortunately, one officer was struck multiple times. The officer was rushed to a St. Louis University Hospital. He is expected to make a full recovery.  A massive manhunt is now underway to locate the suspect. Authorities warn the public that the man is considered armed and dangerous.  Kevin Costner makes new attempt to dismiss lawsuit over alleged Horizon' rape scene

Kevin Costner is making another attempt to have a sexual harassment lawsuit dismissed, filed by stunt performer Devyn LaBella, who alleges she was forced to take part in an unscripted and unplanned rape scene on the set of the Western film series "Horizon."

A judge previously dismissed two of LaBella’s 10 claims, but Costner has now appealed, seeking to have the remaining eight claims thrown out. LaBella originally filed the lawsuit in May, asserting that the scene was imposed on her without consent. Costner has denied that any violent rape scene occurred on set and characterized the lawsuit as a “textbook shake down.” His legal team previously filed a motion to dismiss in August, and the latest appeal represents the next step in the ongoing legal battle.
