Marilyn Manson's sexual assault case by former assistant reinstated under new California law A previously dismissed sexual assault case against Marilyn Manson, filed by former assistant Ashley Walters, was revived Monday in Los Angeles Superior Court under a new California law extending the statute of limitations for certain sexual abuse claims. Judge Steve Cochran granted Walters’ motion for reconsideration, vacating his December 2025 ruling that had dismissed the case and allowing it to proceed toward trial. The original suit, first filed in 2021, accused Manson, whose legal name is Brian Warner, of sexual harassment, sexual battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and wrongful termination based on her time working for him in 2010–2011. Previous attempts to move the case forward were blocked because the claims were made years after the alleged incidents, with courts initially ruling that the delayed discovery doctrine did not apply.  Kevin Costner makes new attempt to dismiss lawsuit over alleged Horizon' rape scene

Kevin Costner is making another attempt to have a sexual harassment lawsuit dismissed, filed by stunt performer Devyn LaBella, who alleges she was forced to take part in an unscripted and unplanned rape scene on the set of the Western film series "Horizon."

A judge previously dismissed two of LaBella’s 10 claims, but Costner has now appealed, seeking to have the remaining eight claims thrown out. LaBella originally filed the lawsuit in May, asserting that the scene was imposed on her without consent. Costner has denied that any violent rape scene occurred on set and characterized the lawsuit as a “textbook shake down.” His legal team previously filed a motion to dismiss in August, and the latest appeal represents the next step in the ongoing legal battle.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
