 IGP DISU PAYS OPERATIONAL VISIT TO  AKWA IBOM, PRESIDES OVER PASSING-OUT CEREMONY OF 1,068 RETRAINED CONSTABLES The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM, today, 30th April 2026, undertook an official visit to Akwa Ibom State, where he paid a courtesy call on the Executive Governor, His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno, ahead of the passing-out ceremony of retrained Police Constables in Uyo.  LASG ISSUES TRAFFIC ADVISORY FOR REPAIR OF ADENIJI ADELE INTERCHANGE JUNCTION TO CMS


The Lagos State Government has issued a traffic advisory ahead of the repair works on the Adeniji Adele Interchange Junction to CMS.


The repair will take place between 11:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. daily, commencing on Sunday, 12th October, and ending on Sunday, 23rd November 2025 - a duration of six weeks.


To minimise traffic disruptions, only one lane will be closed at a time, while the remaining lanes will be open to motorists.


The Commissioner for Transportation, Mr. Oluwaseun Osiyemi, assured that traffic management personnel will be deployed to the affected area to reduce inconvenience and manage vehicular movement during the repair works.


He urged motorists to comply with the directives of traffic officers on the ground to ensure smooth traffic flow.


ADVISORY:


Motorists are implored to be patient, as the lane diversion is part of the traffic management plan for the rehabilitation of the road by the Federal Ministry of Works.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
