Marilyn Manson's sexual assault case by former assistant reinstated under new California law A previously dismissed sexual assault case against Marilyn Manson, filed by former assistant Ashley Walters, was revived Monday in Los Angeles Superior Court under a new California law extending the statute of limitations for certain sexual abuse claims. Judge Steve Cochran granted Walters’ motion for reconsideration, vacating his December 2025 ruling that had dismissed the case and allowing it to proceed toward trial. The original suit, first filed in 2021, accused Manson, whose legal name is Brian Warner, of sexual harassment, sexual battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and wrongful termination based on her time working for him in 2010–2011. Previous attempts to move the case forward were blocked because the claims were made years after the alleged incidents, with courts initially ruling that the delayed discovery doctrine did not apply.  LASODA EMPOWERS PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES THROUGH CASH SUPPORT INITIATIVE


The Lagos State Office for Disability Affairs (LASODA) has reaffirmed the State Government’s commitment to the welfare and inclusion of persons with disabilities through its two-day cash support initiative held on October 13th and 14th, 2025, at the Agency’s premises.


Speaking on behalf of the General Manager of LASODA, Mrs. Adenike Oyetunde-Lawal, the Head of Finance and Accounts Department, Mr. Hezekiah Akinbule, emphasised that the initiative demonstrates Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s unwavering dedication to ensuring that no segment of society is left behind.


In his words, “On behalf of the Lagos State Government, represented by LASODA, each beneficiary will receive the sum of ₦100,000. This gesture is not intended to solve all your challenges but to show that the government cares deeply about you and that you are not forgotten. We are here for you, and by God’s grace, before you leave here, you will receive your alerts. A symbolic presentation of dummy cheques will also be made for documentation and photo purposes.”


The event witnessed the empowerment of several individuals across different disability clusters, including Ms. Akanbi Opayemi Blessing, Omo Tola Owolabi, and Gift Blessing Igwe from the visually impaired cluster, as well as Shonibare Adenike Mustapha Ganiyu from the physically challenged cluster, among others.


Mr. Akinbule further commended the beneficiaries for their resilience and encouraged them to utilise the support effectively to enhance their livelihoods. He reaffirmed LASODA’s ongoing efforts to promote inclusion, empowerment, and equal opportunities for persons with disabilities in Lagos State.


The two-day programme forms part of LASODA’s broader mandate to implement the Lagos State Special People’s Law and to foster a more inclusive society where people with disabilities can thrive and contribute meaningfully to the State’s development.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.  Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
