 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville.  Cry and wailings as Ndi Igbo in Ladipo market fall victim to Ponzi scam and 419 scheme.


A company claiming to be affiliated to Swiss Stock Exchange has reported vanished after operating a high-yield investment scheme in Ladipo, Lagos, for just two months. 


The firm promised investors a 50% return in seven days offering that is for every ₦1million you invest you get ₦1.5 million in 7 days.


The company aggressively marketed its offer in Ladipo, targeting traders and business owners. Several individuals reportedly invested large sums, including ₦1.5 million, ₦3 million, ₦5 million, and even ₦60 million.


As of today, the company has allegedly disappeared, leaving investors devastated and demanding answers.


One trader shared, “They’ve been walking around convincing people, but I paid deaf ears. Now people are crying and running mad."
