Marilyn Manson's sexual assault case by former assistant reinstated under new California law A previously dismissed sexual assault case against Marilyn Manson, filed by former assistant Ashley Walters, was revived Monday in Los Angeles Superior Court under a new California law extending the statute of limitations for certain sexual abuse claims. Judge Steve Cochran granted Walters’ motion for reconsideration, vacating his December 2025 ruling that had dismissed the case and allowing it to proceed toward trial. The original suit, first filed in 2021, accused Manson, whose legal name is Brian Warner, of sexual harassment, sexual battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and wrongful termination based on her time working for him in 2010–2011. Previous attempts to move the case forward were blocked because the claims were made years after the alleged incidents, with courts initially ruling that the delayed discovery doctrine did not apply.  Nigerian Woman Says Leaving Her Loveless Marriage at 24 Was the Best Decision She Ever Made


A Nigerian woman, Chukwudi Mmesoma, has shared how walking away from her loveless marriage at age 24 turned out to be one of the best choices of her life.


In a Facebook post on Thursday, the mother of two said she refused to remain in an unhappy union just for the sake of her children, stressing that doing so would have cost her youthful years.


“It has been seven years now, and I’m extremely grateful to God,” she wrote. “I left while still young and full of life. Waiting for the children to grow up is often an excuse women use to stay in marriages that clearly aren’t working.”


Now 31, Mmesoma said she has rebuilt her life and is proud of her decision. “I was told I’d get tired and run back, but it’s been seven years — and I’ve never looked back,” she added.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
