  DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report.  Nigerian Woman Says Leaving Her Loveless Marriage at 24 Was the Best Decision She Ever Made


A Nigerian woman, Chukwudi Mmesoma, has shared how walking away from her loveless marriage at age 24 turned out to be one of the best choices of her life.


In a Facebook post on Thursday, the mother of two said she refused to remain in an unhappy union just for the sake of her children, stressing that doing so would have cost her youthful years.


“It has been seven years now, and I’m extremely grateful to God,” she wrote. “I left while still young and full of life. Waiting for the children to grow up is often an excuse women use to stay in marriages that clearly aren’t working.”


Now 31, Mmesoma said she has rebuilt her life and is proud of her decision. “I was told I’d get tired and run back, but it’s been seven years — and I’ve never looked back,” she added.
