  Chikun/Kajuru Rep, Hon. Fidelix Bagudu, Announces New Appointments To Strengthen Inclusive Governance The Honourable Member representing the Chikun/Kajuru Federal Constituency, Hon. Fidelix Joseph Bagudu, has announced a wide-ranging list of new appointments aimed at deepening inclusive governance and enhancing representation across the constituency. The appointments, which take immediate effect, were unveiled in alignment with Kaduna State Governor Senator Uba Sani’s commitment to participatory governance. According to the lawmaker’s office, the list reflects deliberate efforts to ensure fair representation of all wards, communities, and interest groups across Chikun and Kajuru Local Government Areas (LGAs). Risky Business and The Breakfast Club actor Ron Dean dies at 87

Ron Dean, the veteran actor known for his roles in Risky Business and The Breakfast Club, has died at the age of 87. Dean passed away Sunday at a hospital in Chicago after a long illness, according to his partner of 40 years, Maggie Neff.

Dean often portrayed law enforcement figures on screen, beginning with one of his earliest roles in Risky Business alongside Tom Cruise. He also appeared with William Shatner in T.J. Hooker and starred in The Package with Gene Hackman and Tommy Lee Jones. Among his most recognized roles, Dean played Emilio Estevez’s father in The Breakfast Club and appeared in Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight.

His extensive television career included appearances on NYPD Blue, Murder, She Wrote, ER, Chicago Hope, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Cold Case, Frasier, Without a Trace, The West Wing, Still Standing, and Numb3rs. Dean’s work left a lasting mark on both film and television, and he is remembered for his commanding presence and versatility as a character actor.
