 LAGOS SIGNS FIVE-YEAR BLOOD SCREENING CONCESSION TO DEEPEN SAFE BLOOD SUPPLY … Partners Private Concessionaires, Roche Products Ltd, To Standardise Blood Screening Across Public Hospitals … HC Urges Voluntary Blood Donation As State Targets Zero Transfusion-Related Infections Lagos State Government on Tuesday, 28th July, 2026 signed a five-year Blood Screening and Certification Concession Agreement with approved concessionaires, marking a major milestone in its drive to strengthen blood safety, standardise screening processes and guarantee the availability of safe blood for patients across the state.  The agreement, signed at the Conference Room of the Lagos State Ministry of Health, Alausa-Ikeja, is expected to improve quality assurance, accountability and technology-driven blood screening services in public health facilities. TACHA: ANOTHER NIGERIAN ATTEMPTS TO BREAK GUINNESS WORLD RECORD IN LAGOS.(VIDEO/PHOTO).

 Another Nigerian Attempts to Break  Guinness World Record in Lagos.


29 year old reality TV star, media personality and make-up artist, Natasha Akide, popularly known as Tacha, is attempting to break the Guinness World Record for the most makeovers completed in 24 hours. 


Her goal is to do complete makeovers for 150 women within 24 hrs. The project which is part of the Tacha's Beauty Festival, started 8pm on the11th of October and continues on Sunday 12th. So far she has spent 12hrs making over 115 women using approximately 4 minutes on each person. The race to beat the 24-hour mark will end 8pm.


According to the project's manager, Tacha has already surpassed the existing record of 113 makeovers by completing 115 in 12 hours.


Indian-origin makeup artist Swapnil Shinde, holds the existing Guinness World Record for the "Most Cosmetic Makeovers by an Individual in 24 hours after completing 113 makeovers.
