 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots. David “Heavy D” Sparks, one of the stars of The Diesel Brothers, was arrested following a bench warrant issued on October 2.

The arrest stems from unpaid fees related to a Clean Air Act lawsuit filed by Utah Physicians for a Healthy Environment. Sparks, 40, reportedly owes $843,602.23 in court-ordered costs that have gone unpaid over more than three years. He was booked on Tuesday morning at Salt Lake City Jail at 7:33 a.m.

Sparks, along with his co-star David “Diesel Dave” Kiley, first gained attention after being featured by car enthusiast Jay Leno, who discovered them through their YouTube videos. Since then, the duo has worked with high-profile figures including Ye, Jake and Logan Paul, and even hosted Marshawn Lynch, who took part in monster truck stunts and car crushes on their show.
