 First Lady Remi Tinubu Hails Nigeria Workers For Their Resilience And Dedication  Nigeria's First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu extends her warm greetings and deep appreciation to all workers in the country as they join their counterparts across the world to mark 2026 International Worker's Day. In a message celebrating their resilience, dedication and invaluable contributions to the growth and development of the country, the First Lady says public servants, private sector professionals, artisans, entrepreneurs, and all those who labour tirelessly are indeed the backbone of progress in the nation. She commends the role of trade unions in advocating for the well-being of workers, and cooperation in strengthening the nation’s workforce.

TikTok star Emman Atienza dies at 19

Emman Atienza, a popular TikTok creator known for her lifestyle content, has died at the age of 19 at her home in Los Angeles.

The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner confirmed that her death has been ruled a suicide.

Her grieving parents, a Filipino television host and an entrepreneur and fitness influencer, shared the heartbreaking news on Instagram Friday morning. They wrote, “She brought so much joy, laughter, and love into our lives and into the lives of everyone who knew her. Emman had a way of making people feel seen and heard, and she wasn’t afraid to share her own journey with mental health. Her authenticity helped so many feel less alone.”

Atienza had amassed more than 800,000 followers on TikTok and 225,000 on Instagram, sharing videos about her life and experiences, including her recent move to Los Angeles. Her passing has prompted an outpouring of condolences from fans and fellow creators alike.
