Tinubu Has Locked Down South, Nobody, Not Obi Or Jonathan Will Be Able defeat him from the South except a Northern Muslim candidate is presented to run against him-  Dele Momodu

Founder of Ovation Magazine and one of the chieftains of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, Chief Dele Momodu has explained how President Bola Ahmed Tinubu can be defeated in the forthcoming presidential election in 2027.

His statement was contained in a report that was published on the official X handle of DAILY POST on Saturday, October 18, 2025.

In the report that surfaced online, Dele Momodu stated that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu can not be defeated if the opposition presents a candidate from the Southern part of the country.

He said Tinubu will defeat former President of Nigeria, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan and former governor of Anambra state, Peter Obi if the opposition presents any of them.

He said the only way the President can be defeated is by presenting a Northern Muslim candidate and supporting him with a Southern Christian candidate.

Dele Momodu said the President has locked down the South and it will be difficult for anybody to defeat him from the region.

“That is why you saw PDP and APC apparatchik all struggling to insist that a candidate must come from the South. They know that President Tinubu has already locked down the South and nobody, not Peter Obi, not Goodluck Jonathan will be able to catch up with him where he is right now”.
