 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville.  Two Women Get Justice Through Anambra Ministry of Women Affairs


Mrs. Ogochukwu Onyema and Mrs. Nneka Jennifer, through the Ministry of Women Affairs, Anambra State, has expressed their profound appreciation to the government of Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo for his continued support in the fight against gender-based violence.


Mrs. Ogochukwu, who had been deprived of her late father’s property, successfully reclaimed her inheritance with the intervention of the Ministry and the support of the Governor.


Similarly, Mrs. Nneka Jennifer, who had been denied access to her children following a domestic dispute with her husband, also received justice after her case was presented in court. Despite not being an indigene of Anambra State, Mrs. Nneka was granted fair hearing and justice through the efforts of the Soludo-led administration.


The Ministry of Women Affairs reaffirmed its commitment to fighting all forms of gender-based violence in the state. It also called on women facing similar challenges to report their cases, assuring them of fair and amicable handling.
