 IGP DISU PAYS OPERATIONAL VISIT TO  AKWA IBOM, PRESIDES OVER PASSING-OUT CEREMONY OF 1,068 RETRAINED CONSTABLES The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM, today, 30th April 2026, undertook an official visit to Akwa Ibom State, where he paid a courtesy call on the Executive Governor, His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno, ahead of the passing-out ceremony of retrained Police Constables in Uyo.  Vice President, Kashim Shettima Returns to Abuja


Vice President Kashim Shettima has returned to Abuja after representing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the 80th Session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York and strategic engagements in Germany.

During the week-long international engagement, the Vice President delivered President Tinubu's national statement calling for comprehensive UN reforms, championed Africa's sovereignty over its 700-billion-dollar mineral resources, and strengthened strategic partnerships with the United Kingdom, Gates Foundation, and other international stakeholders.

Shettima also met with the UN Secretary-General António Guterres and secured his commendation for Nigeria's bid for a permanent Security Council seat and in another engagement, showcased the country's 200-billion-dollar energy transition opportunity to global investors.

He also assured the Nigerian diaspora community of robust engagement in the President Tinubu administration's policies and programmes before his engagements in Germany.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
