 A 14-year-old Ohio girl has taken her own life, and her family believes that social media played a role. Szedi Roush sadly took her own life on Friday, June 12th. The loss of such a young and vibrant life has left the Blanchester, Ohio community shocked and filled with grief as they struggle to make sense of her passing.  Szedi was a student at Blanchester High School, where she was very active in sports and, by all outward appearances, a happy and outgoing teen. However, Szedi's family says there was a side to her kept hidden from her family. Despite being hidden from family, Szedi posted about her feelings  on TikTok. Her father says her most recent post described her feelings, and the method she intended to take her life, garnered over 40 reactions ranging from likes to hearts. Celebrity barman and socialite, Okechukwu Pascal, popularly known as Cubana Chiefpriest, has stirred controversy online after mocking Grammy-winning artist Burna Boy while praising superstar Davido.

The nightlife mogul made the remarks following his appearance at Davido’s sold-out show at the Uyo Stadium in Akwa Ibom State.

In a celebratory post shared on Instagram, Cubana Chiefpriest expressed gratitude to Davido for allowing him to perform on stage and went on to hail the singer as the undisputed pioneer of Afrobeats.

“Chief Priest Don Do Stadium. Dem sabi my gbedu well well for Uyo. From today onwards, Akwa Ibom has my fat heart. @davido without you Afrobeats is a bastard. 001 for a reason, the Papa of Afrobeats,” he wrote.

However, drama escalated when a fan referenced Burna Boy in the comments, prompting a sharp response from Chiefpriest.

Reacting to the comment, he wrote: “The bingo go cry.”
