Celebrity barman and socialite, Okechukwu Pascal, popularly known as Cubana Chiefpriest, has stirred controversy online after mocking Grammy-winning artist Burna Boy while praising superstar Davido.

The nightlife mogul made the remarks following his appearance at Davido’s sold-out show at the Uyo Stadium in Akwa Ibom State.

In a celebratory post shared on Instagram, Cubana Chiefpriest expressed gratitude to Davido for allowing him to perform on stage and went on to hail the singer as the undisputed pioneer of Afrobeats.

“Chief Priest Don Do Stadium. Dem sabi my gbedu well well for Uyo. From today onwards, Akwa Ibom has my fat heart. @davido without you Afrobeats is a bastard. 001 for a reason, the Papa of Afrobeats,” he wrote.

However, drama escalated when a fan referenced Burna Boy in the comments, prompting a sharp response from Chiefpriest.

Reacting to the comment, he wrote: “The bingo go cry.”
