 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. 38 ABDUCTEES IN ERUKU REGAINED FREEDOM. (PHOTO).

 38 abductees in Eruku regained freedom.


The 38 abductees in Eruku,Ekiti local government Area of Kwara State have regained freedom.


In a statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Kwara State governor, Rafiu Ajakaye, the abducted persons regained their freedom after many days of hard work by security forces and government representatives.


Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq through the statement commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR ,who has personally led the efforts by sending in more security personnels.


According to the statement, the abductees were freed today, November 23,2025.


The governor also expresses appreciation to the office of the National Security Adviser,the Department of State Services, the Nigerian Army, Nigerian Intelligence Agency and the Nigeria Police which has graciously deployed for new tactical teams to Kwara State on the directive of the president.
