 TROOPS OF OPERATION WHIRL STROKE ARREST HIGH PROFILE CRIMINAL IN BENUE COMMUNITY Troops of Operation WHIRL STROKE arrested a high-profile suspected criminal during an intelligence-driven operation in Agasha Village of Guma Local Government Area, Benue State, following a report of an attack on a local resident. The operation was launched on 13 March 2026 after security agencies received credible information regarding an attack on Mr Shaapera Seeta Michael in Agasha Village. Acting swiftly on the report, troops of the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Intervention Battalion XI deployed under Operation WHIRL STROKE mobilised immediately to the affected area to track down the suspect responsible for the assault. Upon arrival, the troops cordoned the area to prevent the suspect from escaping while conducting a targeted search operation aimed at identifying and apprehending the alleged attacker. A 5-YEAR-OLD LOUISIANA BOY LOST HIS LIFE WHILE WAITING FOR THE SCHOOL BUS AFTER BEING RUN OVER BY HIS GRANDMOTHER. THE GRANDMOTHER IS BEING CHARGED. (PHOTO).

 A 5-year-old Louisiana boy lost his life while waiting for the school bus after being run over by his grandmother. The grandmother is being charged. 


This tragedy unfolded in the Spartan Trace subdivision of Slidell, Louisiana, a little after 7 a.m. on the morning of Tuesday 11th. 


According to reports, the young child was waiting on his school bus in his driveway.  While he was waiting, his grandmother 55-year-old Kristen Anders, exited the home and got inside of her 2016 GMC Yukon to leave for work. 


Sadly, the grandmother did not notice the young child waiting for the bus and backed over him while leaving the driveway. 


While investigating the death, it was determined that Anders was under the influence of alcohol and central nervous depressants at the time of the accident. 


Kristen Anders was arrested on scene and is being charged with vehicular homicide.


Our thoughts are with the family as they deal with this unimaginable loss.
