Marilyn Manson's sexual assault case by former assistant reinstated under new California law A previously dismissed sexual assault case against Marilyn Manson, filed by former assistant Ashley Walters, was revived Monday in Los Angeles Superior Court under a new California law extending the statute of limitations for certain sexual abuse claims. Judge Steve Cochran granted Walters’ motion for reconsideration, vacating his December 2025 ruling that had dismissed the case and allowing it to proceed toward trial. The original suit, first filed in 2021, accused Manson, whose legal name is Brian Warner, of sexual harassment, sexual battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and wrongful termination based on her time working for him in 2010–2011. AN ELDERLY CALIFORNIA COUPLE WERE ATTACKED IN THEIR HOME WITH A KNIFE AND SCREWDRIVER BY A CRAZED MAN. SADLY, THE 70-YEAR-OLD HUSBAND LOST HIS LIFE, BUT AGAINST ALL ODDS, HIS WIFE MADE THE CALL THAT GOT HER ATTACKER ARRESTED. (PHOTOS).

An elderly California couple were attacked in their home with a knife and screwdriver by a crazed man. Sadly, the 70-year-old husband lost his life, but against all odds, his wife made the call that got her attacker arrested.

On Wednesday, November 5th, 36-year-old Manuel Alvarez snuck into the Murrieta, CA home of 70-year-old Bob Brink and his wife Cynthia Polsgrove.

Alvarez, who was armed with a knife and screwdriver, immediately attacked Bob with the knife. Unfortunately, Bob did not survive this encounter.

After taking Bob's life, Alvarez made his way further into the home, where he used the screwdriver to injure Cynthia in the head. After attacking both Bob and Cynthia, Manuel Alvarez fled the home.

Despite suffering such a brutal attack, Cynthia was able to get back up and call 911. Cynthia was rushed to the hospital, and despite suffering severe injuries, she survived the attack.

Thanks to Cynthia's amazing strength and courage, police were able to locate and arrest Manuel Alvarez within 40 minutes of the attack.

Manuel Alvarez is being charged with first-degree homicide, attempted homicide and resisting arrest.

You're a hero, Cynthia
