  DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report.  Anambra guber: I’m a winner – AAC’s Ifemeludike declares despite 292 votes


The candidate of the African Action Congress, AAC, in the just concluded Anambra State governorship election, Chioma Ifemeludike, has described herself as a winner despite losing the election to Governor Chukwuma Soludo.

According to results released by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, secured 292 votes in the poll.

INEC declared the incumbent governor, Soludo of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, winner of the election with 422,664 votes.

The All Progressives Congress, APC, candidate, Nicholas Ukachukwu, came second with 99,445 votes.

However, in a post shared on her X handle on Sunday, Ifemeludike said her modest tally represented a symbolic victory rooted in principles rather than political machinery.

“Integrity stands firm and higher than political deception. I’m a winner!” she wrote.

Ifemeludike gained significant online attention during the campaign for her unconventional photos and videos.

She said she was satisfied with her performance and noted that her campaign was conducted without malpractice.

She maintained that her participation in the race underscored the importance of sincerity, courage, and clean politics, even in an environment dominated by bigger political parties.
