 TROOPS OF OPERATION UDO KA UNCOVER SHALLOW GRAVE, EXHUME REMAINS OF LATE COMMUNITY LEADER IN IMO STATE Troops of 34 Artillery Brigade, operating under Operation UDO KA and through the ongoing Operation EASTERN SANITY II, have achieved another significant breakthrough with the recovery and dignified exhumation of the remains of the late Chief Ibe Anyadu of Aggah Community. Chief Anyadu was allegedly murdered by suspected members of a criminal gang recently apprehended in connection with violent crimes in the region. This development follows recent intelligence-driven operations that led to the arrest of suspects responsible for the killing of a Nigerian Army soldier and the recovery of stolen service weapons. During interrogation, one of the suspects confessed to involvement in the murder of Chief Anyadu and volunteered to lead troops to the burial site.  ANGLICAN CHURCH CONDEMNS KILLING OF VENERABLE EDWIN ACHI


The Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion) has condemned the killing of Venerable Edwin Achi, a priest of the Diocese of Kaduna, who was murdered after a month-long abduction.


In a statement signed by the Primate, Archbishop Henry Ndukuba, the Church described the incident as a tragic loss and an assault on the nation’s conscience.


The Church called on the Federal Government, security agencies, and international partners to identify and bring to justice the sponsors and enablers of attacks targeting clergy and vulnerable communities.


It also appealed for the immediate and unconditional release of the priest’s wife and daughter, who were abducted alongside him and remain in captivity.


The Anglican Communion urged authorities to intensify efforts to end kidnappings nationwide and prayed for comfort for the family and healing for the nation.
