 Brazil’s former president Bolsonaro hospitalized in intensive care with pneumonia, officials say   Brazil’s former President Jair Bolsonaro is being treated in an intensive care unit in Brasilia after developing pneumonia, hospital officials said Friday. Doctors described the 70-year-old’s condition as serious, warning that pneumonia in older patients can progress to septicemia if bacteria enter the bloodstream. Bolsonaro was transferred from prison after experiencing high fever, chills, vomiting, and low oxygen levels, his eldest son, Flávio Bolsonaro, said on X. The hospital confirmed bronchopneumonia, likely caused by aspiration, and said he is receiving intravenous antibiotics and non-invasive support. Bolsonaro is serving a 27-year sentence for attempting a coup following his 2022 election defeat, and hospital staff noted it is unlikely he will return to prison in the coming days due to the need for ongoing IV treatment. In Benue State, a moving tale of resilience and devotion is warming hearts across the region. It’s the story of Mr. Terseer Jeremiah a man whose path to the altar became a powerful reminder that true love doesn’t collapse under pressure.


Just days before his traditional wedding, Terseer was travelling to Naka in Gwer-West to complete essential rites and bring home his bride-to-be. But fate intervened. A sudden, serious accident left him injured and confined to a wheelchair, the kind of moment that could shatter the strongest plans.


But not this one.


Rather than postpone the ceremony, Terseer chose courage. He showed up on his wedding day seated in a wheelchair, determined to honour his commitment and celebrate the woman he loves. His strength stirred emotions among guests, many of whom described the moment as a testament to divine grace and unwavering faith.


For Terseer and his bride, the wedding became more than a celebration, it became a victory. A reminder that love endures, even when life delivers its hardest blows.


As the couple begins their new journey, prayers continue to pour in for Terseer’s full recovery, along with blessings for a joyful and enduring marriage.
