Marilyn Manson's sexual assault case by former assistant reinstated under new California law A previously dismissed sexual assault case against Marilyn Manson, filed by former assistant Ashley Walters, was revived Monday in Los Angeles Superior Court under a new California law extending the statute of limitations for certain sexual abuse claims. Judge Steve Cochran granted Walters’ motion for reconsideration, vacating his December 2025 ruling that had dismissed the case and allowing it to proceed toward trial.  Catholic Diocese Lists Names of 265 Students and Teachers Still in Captivity

The Catholic Diocese of Kontagora in Niger State has released a list of 265 students and teachers from St Mary’s School, Papiri, who remain in the hands of their abductors following a shocking attack earlier this month.

On November 21, armed men stormed the school, abducting a total of 315 individuals, including 303 students and 12 teachers.

The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) in Niger State reported that 50 students have already escaped from captivity, bringing some relief to families, but 265 people — 239 nursery and primary students, 14 secondary students, and 12 teachers — are still missing.

Authorities and community leaders are intensifying efforts to secure the release of the remaining victims. Families and residents continue to live in fear, as the abduction underscores the growing insecurity in the region and the persistent threats faced by schools in northern Nigeria.
