The Traditional Ruler of Azumini Ndoki Ancient Kingdom in Ukwa East LGA, Abia State, HRM Eze Edward Eule (Onyenweali X), has dismissed claims by some of his subjects that he abandoned his throne following his temporary absence from the community. This is as six suspects have been arrested by the police in connection with the stealing of the community’s electricity transformer, thus plunging the community into darkness. The monarch, who is currently in the U.S, explained that his trip was to attend to personal and professional matters, adding that he will soon return to Nigeria. "I travelled to the United States of America in May 2025 to attend to some professional and personal matters. I am robustly healthy and fine, and I may soon conclude the task of my sojourn here", he said. Prof. Eule accused individuals he described as "mischief-makers operating under the guise of an Interim Ruling Council" of peddling falsehoods and propaganda about his alleged abdication. ...

Charlie Kirk’s widow urges cameras be allowed in courtroom for murder trial

Erika Kirk, widow of the late conservative activist Charlie Kirk, is calling for cameras to be allowed in the courtroom during the murder trial of the man accused of killing her husband at a Turning Point USA rally in Utah earlier this year.

In an exclusive interview, Erika Kirk said, “There were cameras all over my husband when he was murdered. There have been cameras all over my friends and family mourning. There have been cameras all over me, analyzing my every move, my every smile, my every tear. We deserve to have cameras in there.” Her comments came in response to defense attorneys for Tyler Robinson, 22, requesting that cameras be banned from the court proceedings due to the trial’s high-profile nature.

Charlie Kirk was shot in the neck at Utah Valley University and later pronounced dead at the hospital. Robinson turned himself in days after the shooting and faces charges including aggravated murder and six other counts, with Utah seeking the death penalty. Erika Kirk, who now leads TPUSA, said, “Why not be transparent? There’s nothing to hide. I know there’s not because I’ve seen what the case is built on.”

Robinson is scheduled to return to court in January. The killing has intensified discussions about political tensions in the U.S., with many on the right, including former President Donald Trump, claiming that liberal rhetoric has encouraged political violence. “Let everyone see what true evil is,” Erika Kirk said. “This is something that could impact a generation and generations to come.”
