Court summons Odumodublvck over ‘criminal intimidation’ of Chocolate City boss

A chief magistrate court sitting in Abuja has summoned Tochukwu Ojogwu, the rapper better known as Odumodublvck, over alleged criminal intimidation of Olayinka Osagie Onobun, head of A&R at Chocolate City Music.

In a court summons dated November 3, 2025 and seen by TheCable Lifestyle, Farida Ibrahim, the chief magistrate, ordered the rapper to appear in person before the court on November 6, 2025, to answer charges levelled against him by the complainant.

Onobun, who also serves as the A&R manager for rapper Blaqbonez, alleged that Odumodublvck intimidated him through a series of posts on X.

In a petition submitted to the court, Pelumi Olajengbesi, counsel to Onobun, urged the magistrate to issue a criminal summons against Odumodublvck for a thorough investigation and possible prosecution.

“The defendant has, by his actions, threatened the complainant with injury to his person in order to cause fear to the complainant,” Olajengbesi said.

“It is clear that the cumulative acts of the defendant constitute criminal intimidation contrary to and punishable under Sections 396 and 397 of the Penal Code Act, Cap 532, Laws of the FCT, Nigeria, 2006.”

Following the petition, Ibrahim directed the defendant to appear before the court on November 6 to respond to the allegations.
