Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen step out in coordinated black looks for New York stroll Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen made a rare joint appearance in New York City, stepping out together for a relaxed afternoon in matching, understated fashion. The 39-year-old twins were seen walking through Midtown Manhattan on April 30, dressed in coordinated black trench coats paired with wide-leg denim. They completed the look with sunglasses, scarves, and structured alligator handbags from their luxury label, The Row, before stopping for lunch during their outing. Long before becoming fashion insiders, the sisters built global recognition as child actors through projects like Full House, It Takes Two, and New York Minute.  Former The View co-host Lisa Ling exits CBS News amid major Paramount layoffs

Lisa Ling is among the CBS News personalities affected by the network’s recent layoffs following Paramount’s acquisition by Skydance. Ling, a former co-host of The View, shared the news on social media, noting that while she was let go, some of her reports will still air in the coming weeks.

“Yesterday, I got a call from CBS that I was among the massive layoffs at the network,” Ling said in an Instagram video. “This didn’t entirely surprise me, because I wasn’t a full-time employee, but rather a contributor, and we’re easy to cut. My heart goes out to those who have been working at the network for many, many years.” She added that she was proud of the series she produced on topics including caregiving, psychedelic healing, and spirituality, and announced plans to develop a new platform focusing on intergenerational strength and healing.

The layoffs affected nearly 100 CBS News staffers and included the elimination of the Race & Culture Unit, cancellation of streaming programs CBS Mornings Plus and CBS Evening News Plus, and an overhaul of CBS Saturday Morning, which will see hosts Michelle Miller and Dana Jacobson depart. Other notable departures included senior foreign correspondent Debora Patta and correspondents Nikki Battiste and Janet Shamlian. A second round of cuts is expected early next year. Ling joined CBS News in 2023 as a contributor after her tenure at CNN, hosting This Is Life with Lisa Ling.
