 Press Release: Every Hisbah Officer Is a Peace and Security Ambassador in His Community. Kano State Governor Alh.Abba Kabir Yusuf has reaffirmed the determination of his administration to ensure security and peace  for the protection of lives and property across the state. The Governor, represented by the Commissioner for Religious Affairs, Sheikh Ahmad Tijjani Sani Auwal, made the commitment during a stakeholders meeting on the contribution of shari'a sector institutions toward promoting peace and security in Kano State. The meeting was organized by the Kano State Hisbah Board and held at the Coronation hall Government House, Kano. He emphasized that security is a collective responsibility and urged the Hisbah Board to focus more on providing intelligence reports to conventional security agencies, rather than limiting efforts to moral enforcement alone.  Fourth death reported at Walt Disney World in one month

Another death has been reported at Walt Disney World, marking the fourth fatality on the property in the past month.

According to Florida’s Orange County Sheriff’s Office, a woman in her 40s was taken to Celebration Hospital on Sunday, where she was pronounced dead. Authorities say there are no signs of foul play.

This follows three previous deaths at Walt Disney World in recent weeks. On October 14, a 31-year-old woman died by suicide at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. About a week later, a man in his 60s suffered a medical episode and died at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground. Most recently, a 28-year-old man, Matthew Cohn, died by suicide at the Contemporary Resort.

Separate from Florida, Disneyland in California also reported a death earlier this month when a woman in her 60s was found unresponsive on the Haunted Mansion ride on October 8 and later pronounced dead at a hospital.

Disney has not issued a public comment regarding the latest incident.
