Marilyn Manson's sexual assault case by former assistant reinstated under new California law A previously dismissed sexual assault case against Marilyn Manson, filed by former assistant Ashley Walters, was revived Monday in Los Angeles Superior Court under a new California law extending the statute of limitations for certain sexual abuse claims. Judge Steve Cochran granted Walters’ motion for reconsideration, vacating his December 2025 ruling that had dismissed the case and allowing it to proceed toward trial. The original suit, first filed in 2021, accused Manson, whose legal name is Brian Warner, of sexual harassment, sexual battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and wrongful termination based on her time working for him in 2010–2011. Previous attempts to move the case forward were blocked because the claims were made years after the alleged incidents, with courts initially ruling that the delayed discovery doctrine did not apply.  "I will rather quit the military than get involved in the invasion of Nigeria"


Opeyemi David Falegan of the ODF foundation, a well known Ekiti State man, serving in the United Nations peacekeeping missions has vowed to resign rather than obey Trump’s order to fight in Nigeria, saying that he would rather quit the military than fight in Nigeria.


The soldier shared his statement on Facebook, explaining that he would not follow any orders, even those of the UN that ask him to fight in Nigeria, emphasizing on rather leaving the military than obey any instruction of invasion against his country.


The post as seen on his page reads;

"If trump gets involved in Nigerian case , then United Nations get involved .

Imagine been ordered to wage war in  ur home country, I will rather quit the military than fight in my home country, even though terr0rist is the target, I might f!ght for my home country to conquer band!t and terr0rism

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
