 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots.  "I will rather quit the military than get involved in the invasion of Nigeria"


Opeyemi David Falegan of the ODF foundation, a well known Ekiti State man, serving in the United Nations peacekeeping missions has vowed to resign rather than obey Trump’s order to fight in Nigeria, saying that he would rather quit the military than fight in Nigeria.


The soldier shared his statement on Facebook, explaining that he would not follow any orders, even those of the UN that ask him to fight in Nigeria, emphasizing on rather leaving the military than obey any instruction of invasion against his country.


The post as seen on his page reads;

"If trump gets involved in Nigerian case , then United Nations get involved .

Imagine been ordered to wage war in  ur home country, I will rather quit the military than fight in my home country, even though terr0rist is the target, I might f!ght for my home country to conquer band!t and terr0rism
