No good deed goes unpunished.  A Florida sea tow captain saved a man from a burning ship only to be shoved overboard and have his boat stolen. This shocking incident occurred near Marco Island on March 6th. On that date, a call went out regarding a burning boat. The captain of a sea tow boat heard the distress call and rushed to provide aid. He was able to quickly locate the burning boat and  discovered 40-year-old, Ryan Deiter, and his dog onboard the burning ship. Wasting no time, the captain of the sea tow boat was able to maneuver alongside the distressed boat and begin efforts to extricate Deiter and his dog from the doomed vessel.  Eventually, the sea tow captain was able to pull both Deiter and his dog onboard the tow boat. However, once Deiter was pulled to safety, he repaid a stranger's kindness with treachery.  Deiter shoved the captain from his own boat and fled the scene in the stolen boat, leaving the man who had just risked his own vessel and life...

INDIANA HUNTER ARRESTED FOR THE KILLING OF TWO PET DOGS WITH HIS BOW. HIS SON FACES CHARGES FOR HELPING COVER IT UP. (PHOTO).

Indiana hunter arrested for the killing of two pet dogs with his bow. His son faces charges for helping cover it up.

58-year-old John Lowe is facing two charges of animal cruelty after an appalling incident that took place on October 21st.

According to LaPorte County, Indiana County Sheriff's Department, a hunter that was  on the same property became aware of the incident when he heard two dogs he was familiar with start loudly yelping and whimpering.

The dogs were a beagle named Josie and a chocolate lab named Bear.

The hunter who heard the commotion got down from his tree stand to investigate. As the hunter began to survey the area, he spotted John Lowe and his 22-year-old son Hayden dragging the body of Bear along the path.

According to the hunter, John told him he was looking for somewhere to dump the deceased dogs. In addition to attempting to hide the two pet dogs he had killed, John and Hayden destroyed the GPS collar on the beagle in order to hide its location.

However, the dogs' owner was able to locate the bodies by simply going to the last place the dogs were detected.

When authorities went to question John Lowe about the deaths, he admitted to shooting the dogs with his bow. He claimed he had not killed them due to them scaring off the deer, but rather because they had been acting aggressively towards him.

Authorities quickly dismissed these claims due to the fact that the dogs' injuries made it clear they were shot from a tree stand. The hunter who reported the killings also informed authorities that the dogs had always been incredibly friendly.

In addition to the animal cruelty charges, John Lowe is being charged with obstruction of justice.

His son Hayden Lowe is also being charged with obstruction of justice. All charges are felonies.

This is just such a sick thing to do, in my opinion.
