Marilyn Manson's sexual assault case by former assistant reinstated under new California law A previously dismissed sexual assault case against Marilyn Manson, filed by former assistant Ashley Walters, was revived Monday in Los Angeles Superior Court under a new California law extending the statute of limitations for certain sexual abuse claims. Judge Steve Cochran granted Walters’ motion for reconsideration, vacating his December 2025 ruling that had dismissed the case and allowing it to proceed toward trial. The original suit, first filed in 2021, accused Manson, whose legal name is Brian Warner, of sexual harassment, sexual battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and wrongful termination based on her time working for him in 2010–2011. Previous attempts to move the case forward were blocked because the claims were made years after the alleged incidents, with courts initially ruling that the delayed discovery doctrine did not apply. People names 2025 Sexiest Man Alive 

Jonathan Bailey, star of Wicked, has been named People’s Sexiest Man Alive for 2025. The announcement was made on Monday by People, which each year selects finalists based on a combination of looks, charisma, and philanthropic efforts.

At 37, Bailey becomes the first openly gay man to receive the honor. The British actor, who plays Fiyero in the Wicked films, appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon Monday night for the reveal. He is also known for his roles in Netflix’s Bridgerton (Season 2) and Showtime’s Fellow Travelers, alongside a successful stage career.

The title, first awarded to Mel Gibson in 1985, has since been held by Hollywood icons such as Patrick Dempsey, John Legend, Dwayne Johnson, Idris Elba, Adam Levine, Richard Gere, Channing Tatum, and David Beckham. Bailey succeeds John Krasinski, the 2024 honoree. Only three men — Brad Pitt, George Clooney, and Johnny Depp — have claimed the title twice, with Richard Gere also earning a second honor as part of a Sexiest Couple Alive edition with Cindy Crawford.

Notably, no Sexiest Man Alive was selected in 1994, though Keanu Reeves was retroactively named in 2015. People’s annual recognition continues to celebrate Hollywood’s most admired men, blending style, influence, and cultural impact.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
