 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. Kendrick Lamar, Lady Gaga, and Bad Bunny named as Grammy nominees

The nominations for the 2026 Grammy Awards have been announced, with Kendrick Lamar, Lady Gaga, Bad Bunny, and several other top artists among those up for honors. The 68th annual ceremony is set for Feb. 1 at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.

Sabrina Carpenter, nominated for seven awards, including Record, Album, and Song of the Year, revealed the nominees for Best Pop Vocal Album and Best Pop Solo Performance. Carpenter herself is up for Best Pop Vocal Album for Man's Best Friend, competing against Justin Bieber (Swag), Miley Cyrus (Something Beautiful), Lady Gaga (Mayhem), and Teddy Swims (I've Tried Everything But Therapy (Part 2)). Best Pop Solo Performance nominees include Carpenter ("Manchild"), Justin Bieber ("Daisies"), Gaga ("Disease"), Chappell Roan ("The Subway"), and Lola Young ("Messy").

Chappell Roan, who won Best New Artist earlier this year, offered advice for the upcoming winners: "Do what feels right." Other nominees in the Best New Artist category include Olivia Dean, KATSEYE, The Marias, Addison Rae, sombr, Leon Thomas, Alex Warren, and Lola Young.

Sam Smith introduced the Song of the Year nominees, which feature Gaga’s "Abracadabra," Doechii’s "Anxiety," Rose and Bruno Mars’ "APT," Bad Bunny’s "DtMF," Kendrick Lamar and SZA’s "Luther," Carpenter’s "Manchild," Billie Eilish’s "Wildflower," and "Golden" by EJAE, Audrey Nuna, and REI AMI.

Lizzo announced the nominees for Record of the Year, including Bad Bunny ("DtMF"), Carpenter ("Manchild"), Doechii ("Anxiety"), Eilish ("Wildflower"), Gaga ("Abracadabra"), Kendrick Lamar and SZA ("Luther"), Roan ("The Subway"), and Rose and Bruno Mars ("APT"). Mumford & Sons revealed the nominees for Album of the Year, featuring Bad Bunny (DeBI TiRAR MaS FOToS), Bieber (SWAG), Carpenter (Man's Best Friend), Clipse, Pusha T and Malice (Let God Sort Em Out), Lady Gaga (Mayhem), Lamar (GNX), Leon Thomas (Mutt), and Tyler, the Creator (Chromakopia).
