 President Trump awarded inaugural FIFA Peace Prize at World Cup draw in Washington  Gianni Infantino, the FIFA President presented the honour onstage at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts on Friday, saying Trump had been selected “in recognition of his exceptional and extraordinary actions to promote peace and unity around the world”. “This is your prize, this is your peace prize,” Infantino said, after Trump took the stage to accept the trophy, a medal and certificate. “There is also a beautiful medal for you that you can wear everywhere you want to go.”   FIFA says the prize is for “individuals who help unite people in peace through unwavering commitment and special actions”.  Accepting the award, Trump called it “one of the great honours of my life”, before claiming to have “saved millions and millions of lives – the Congo is an example, over 10 million people killed and it was heading for another 10 million very quickly. Man sets house on fire in Ghana, kills wife and six children before taking his own life


A tragic incident has left the people of Akyempim in Ghana’s Central Region in shock after a man allegedly set his home ablaze, killing his wife and six children.


Reports say the victims included his wife, five of their children aged between one and fifteen, and the family’s eldest daughter.


According to the Ghana National Fire Service, investigations revealed that the man allegedly locked the room from the outside before setting the house on fire while the family was asleep.


A disturbing video from the scene showed residents retrieving what was left of the victims from the burnt house, their bodies completely burnt beyond recognition. The heartbreaking sight drew tears from onlookers as locals and emergency workers joined efforts to recover the remains.


Hours later, the man was found dead in a nearby bush, hanging from a tree — confirming suspicions that he had taken his own life.
