Marilyn Manson's sexual assault case by former assistant reinstated under new California law A previously dismissed sexual assault case against Marilyn Manson, filed by former assistant Ashley Walters, was revived Monday in Los Angeles Superior Court under a new California law extending the statute of limitations for certain sexual abuse claims. Judge Steve Cochran granted Walters’ motion for reconsideration, vacating his December 2025 ruling that had dismissed the case and allowing it to proceed toward trial. The original suit, first filed in 2021, accused Manson, whose legal name is Brian Warner, of sexual harassment, sexual battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and wrongful termination based on her time working for him in 2010–2011.  Michigan authorities make sixth arrest in suspected Halloween terror plot

FBI Director Kash Patel confirmed a sixth arrest in connection with a suspected Halloween terror plot in Michigan.

The individual, a 19-year-old from Kent, Washington, was taken into custody on Wednesday for allegedly providing material support inspired by ISIS. This follows prior arrests of three men from Michigan and two from New Jersey.

Among those arrested in Michigan, Ayob Nasser, 19, was charged Wednesday with participating in planning a potential attack on LGBTQ+ bars in suburban Detroit. Nasser, his brother Mohmed Ali, and Majed Mahmoud face charges of conspiracy to provide material support to a designated terrorist organization and for receiving and transferring firearms and ammunition for terrorism. Ali and Mahmoud were arrested on Friday, while authorities also identified two minors involved in the discussions.

Court documents allege that Ali and an unnamed juvenile were mentioned in third-party conversations on encrypted messaging apps, with the group planning a terror attack in the U.S. on behalf of ISIS. Ali is accused of purchasing a shotgun, an AR-15-style rifle, and firearm accessories designed to increase the rate of fire. Mahmoud allegedly bought 1,600 rounds of ammunition intended for AR-15-style rifles. Investigators say Ali and Mahmoud scouted locations in Ferndale, Michigan, and reportedly targeted Halloween for the attack.

In New Jersey, authorities arrested 19-year-olds Tomas Kaan Jimenez-Guzal and Milo Sedarat. Officials said Jimenez-Guzal had expressed intentions to train with ISIS and planned to travel to Turkey with the goal of reaching Syria, while Sedarat is the son of award-winning Iranian-American poet and professor Roger Sedarat.
