 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville.  NIGERIAN TROOP REPPELS ATTACKS, ELIMINATE SIX TERRORISTS


Troops in Borno State have neutralized six terrorists in Mallam Fatori,  after it came

under attack on Tuesday, 4th November 2025.

It says with reinforcement from the main force of Sector 3, the troops successfully repelled the assault, which involved the use of armed drones and mortars, injuring some Civilian Joint Taskforce members and soldiers.  


Recovered from the terrorists were 5 AK-47 rifles, 8 AK-47 magazines, 258 rounds of 7.62mm ammunition, 39 other ammo rounds, 5 RPG bombs, 4 armed drone bombs, 36 hand grenades, 2 bandoliers, and an Android phone. Several terrorist bodies were reportedly evacuated by their comrades as they retreated into the Tumbuns waterways.  


Nigerien Air Force also conducted follow-up strikes on the fleeing terrorists further eliminating additional suspects. 


Report indicates that the troops’ morale remains high, with MNJTF platforms providing situational awareness and airlifting the wounded, all of whom are in stable condition.  


Sources say exploration and clearance of the waterways continue as at the time of filing the report.
