Marilyn Manson's sexual assault case by former assistant reinstated under new California law A previously dismissed sexual assault case against Marilyn Manson, filed by former assistant Ashley Walters, was revived Monday in Los Angeles Superior Court under a new California law extending the statute of limitations for certain sexual abuse claims. Judge Steve Cochran granted Walters’ motion for reconsideration, vacating his December 2025 ruling that had dismissed the case and allowing it to proceed toward trial. The original suit, first filed in 2021, accused Manson, whose legal name is Brian Warner, of sexual harassment, sexual battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and wrongful termination based on her time working for him in 2010–2011. Previous attempts to move the case forward were blocked because the claims were made years after the alleged incidents, with courts initially ruling that the delayed discovery doctrine did not apply.  “No woman should suffer because she chose to leave a marriage” — Actress Mary Remmy Njoku writes emotional message to Regina Daniels


Actress Mary Remmy Njoku has reacted to Regina Daniels’ emotional video, where the actress tearfully spoke about her struggles.


Mary said watching the video brought her to tears because Nigerians practically watched Regina grow up on screen — from a child star to a wife and mother. She expressed sadness that Regina had to come online to cry for help.


She wrote:


 “Dear Regina, watching your video this morning brought tears to my eyes. I practically watched you grow. In fact, all of Nigeria did.

And seeing the woman you’ve become break down online truly breaks my heart.


As a mother of two daughters, I pray that if they ever come online to cry for help (God forbid), and I’m not here, may God raise an army to speak for them. Because this world can be wicked.”


Mary added that regardless of the private details of what led to issues in a marriage, one thing remains: once children are involved, respect should stay in place.


 “When a marriage ends, real men understand that even if she stops being your wife, she never stops being the mother of your children.”


She called on Nigerian women to empathize instead of mock
