 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots. PRIME SUSPECT IN THE FRSC OFFICER AND DAUGHTER'S MURDER HAS BEEN ARRESTED IN GHANA


The herbalist whom earlier was being tracked as the prime suspect in the murder of SRC Lasisi and her daughter Sewa, was apprehended by the police.

However, he made some confessions during interrogation which revealed the actual prime suspect of the crime, one Mr Victor Benjamin Fajemirokun who was a friend of the deceased FRSC officer.


According to the herbalist, Victor brought Lasisi and Sewa to the herbalist's house in Osun State and proceeded to k!ll them for r!tual purposes with the help of his friends.


The police following this revelation, declared Mr. Victor wanted immediately.


Current report now has it that Mr. Victor who fled Nigeria to Ghana, has been arrested by the Ghanaian police after they tracked him using a viral video detailing his alleged cr!mes.

 

Victor remains in Ghanaian custody as arrangements are underway to hand him over to the Nigerian authorities.
