Marilyn Manson's sexual assault case by former assistant reinstated under new California law A previously dismissed sexual assault case against Marilyn Manson, filed by former assistant Ashley Walters, was revived Monday in Los Angeles Superior Court under a new California law extending the statute of limitations for certain sexual abuse claims.  Shebeshxt Faces Attempted Murder Charges in Polokwane Court


Popular Lekompo artist Shebeshxt, whose real name is Lehlogonolo Katlego Chauke, appeared before the Polokwane Magistrates Court on Thursday facing two counts of attempted murder.


The 30-year-old musician was arrested on Wednesday, 11 November 2025, in Bendor, Polokwane, in connection with a shooting incident that took place on 19 October 2025 along Witklip Street in Ladanna.


According to police reports, Shebeshxt allegedly fired several shots at another vehicle during a road rage incident, injuring a 34-year-old man who was rushed to a local hospital with serious injuries. His vehicles have since been seized for forensic investigation.


This is not the artist’s first encounter with the law. He has previously faced charges including assault, malicious damage to property, and discharging a firearm in public.


The case has drawn significant public attention, with fans and critics flooding social media to express mixed reactions to the musician’s latest legal troubles.
