  DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report.  Uncle and Grandmother Arrested for Allegedly Poisoning Relative in Lemondokop Village


Police in Limpopo have arrested two suspects, aged 38 and 82, in connection with the murder of their 30-year-old male relative who was allegedly poisoned at Lemondokop Village on Tuesday, 28 October 2025.  


According to preliminary reports, the deceased had complained of severe stomach pains and dizziness before losing consciousness. He was declared dead inside an ambulance while being transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.  


Community members, dissatisfied with the circumstances surrounding the man’s death, reported their suspicions to the police on Friday, 31 October 2025. An inquest case was initially opened while detectives launched a thorough investigation.  


Investigations later revealed that the deceased’s uncle and grandmother were allegedly responsible for poisoning him. Both suspects were traced and arrested. The inquest docket has since been converted to a murder case, and a post-mortem will be conducted to determine the exact cause of death.  


The suspects are expected to appear before the Kgapane Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday, 04 November 2025, facing charges of murder.
