Marilyn Manson's sexual assault case by former assistant reinstated under new California law A previously dismissed sexual assault case against Marilyn Manson, filed by former assistant Ashley Walters, was revived Monday in Los Angeles Superior Court under a new California law extending the statute of limitations for certain sexual abuse claims. Judge Steve Cochran granted Walters’ motion for reconsideration, vacating his December 2025 ruling that had dismissed the case and allowing it to proceed toward trial. The original suit, first filed in 2021, accused Manson, whose legal name is Brian Warner, of sexual harassment, sexual battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and wrongful termination based on her time working for him in 2010–2011. Previous attempts to move the case forward were blocked because the claims were made years after the alleged incidents, with courts initially ruling that the delayed discovery doctrine did not apply.  SGF CONFIRMS STATUTORY TERMINAL LEAVE FOR NEITI CHAIRMAN DR. ORJI OGBONNAYA ORJI


The Secretary to the Government of the Federation, and Chairman, NEITI National Stakeholders Working Group (NSWG), George Akume, has accepted and confirmed the voluntary request by the Executive Secretary/CEO of the Nigeria Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (NEITI), Dr. Orji Ogbonnaya Orji, to proceed on his statutory terminal leave ahead of the completion of his five-year single tenure, which ends on 19th February 2026.


This follows Dr. Orji’s formal notification in full compliance with the statutory Public Service Rules. The Federal Government commends Dr. Orji for his distinguished and reform-focused service to the nation and to the global Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (EITI) community. On behalf of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the NSWG, the Federal Government conveys its best wishes to Dr. Orji Ogbonnaya Orji after a meritorious and accomplished service to the nation.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
