 Catholic priest reportedly klled in Kogi  A Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Samuel Opeyemi Oyetoro, has been reportedly killed by unknown assailants in Ajaokuta, Kogi State. According to reports, the priest was stabbed multiple times along Ajaokuta road on Wednesday, 29th July 2026. His body was found dumped at the roadside.  Rev. Fr. Oyetoro was born in Egbe, Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State and a native of Ayetoro in Ijumu Local Government Area.  Until his death, he served as a priest at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Egbe.  The FBI is offering a reward of $5 million (R85 million) for information that could lead them to a woman believed to be hiding in Cape Town. 

Her name is Ruja Ignatova, and she is accused of allegedly scamming investors out of billions through her cryptocurrency scheme known as OneCoin. She vanished before authorities could arrest her, and investigators say she has been on the run ever since.
