Marilyn Manson's sexual assault case by former assistant reinstated under new California law A previously dismissed sexual assault case against Marilyn Manson, filed by former assistant Ashley Walters, was revived Monday in Los Angeles Superior Court under a new California law extending the statute of limitations for certain sexual abuse claims. Judge Steve Cochran granted Walters’ motion for reconsideration, vacating his December 2025 ruling that had dismissed the case and allowing it to proceed toward trial. The original suit, first filed in 2021, accused Manson, whose legal name is Brian Warner, of sexual harassment, sexual battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and wrongful termination based on her time working for him in 2010–2011. Previous attempts to move the case forward were blocked because the claims were made years after the alleged incidents, with courts initially ruling that the delayed discovery doctrine did not apply. The Convener of the Recover Nigeria Project, Comrade Osita Obi, has declared that Governor Chukwuma Soludo is certain to win Saturday’s governorship election in Anambra State, describing efforts by opposition parties as a waste of resources.


Obi stated that Soludo’s performance in office and his deep-rooted connection with the people of Anambra have positioned him for an easy victory, insisting that the election will be a reaffirmation of the people’s trust in his leadership. Speaking to journalists in Awka, Obi said;


 “The opposition is wasting money and time because the people of Anambra have already decided.Governor Soludo’s achievements speak louder than campaign promises. He has proven that governance can be about service, not self-interest.”


He pointed out that the governor’s reforms in education, infrastructure, and environmental management have transformed several communities, earning him the respect of both rural and urban dwellers.


According to him, Soludo’s policies have not only improved living conditions but also restored public confidence in government institutions.


He further stated that the governor’s economic blueprint has attracted investors and positioned Anambra as a model state for sustainable development in Nigeria.


“We have seen roads being constructed, schools rehabilitated, and markets reorganized.Soludo is running a people-centered government"

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
