Marilyn Manson's sexual assault case by former assistant reinstated under new California law A previously dismissed sexual assault case against Marilyn Manson, filed by former assistant Ashley Walters, was revived Monday in Los Angeles Superior Court under a new California law extending the statute of limitations for certain sexual abuse claims. Judge Steve Cochran granted Walters’ motion for reconsideration, vacating his December 2025 ruling that had dismissed the case and allowing it to proceed toward trial. The original suit, first filed in 2021, accused Manson, whose legal name is Brian Warner, of sexual harassment, sexual battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and wrongful termination based on her time working for him in 2010–2011. Previous attempts to move the case forward were blocked because the claims were made years after the alleged incidents, with courts initially ruling that the delayed discovery doctrine did not apply.  TROOPS OF 6 BRIGADE NIGERIAN ARMY DESTROY BANDITS’ CAMP IN TAKUM,  TARABA STATE


Troops of 6 Brigade Nigerian Army- Operation Lafiya Nakowa say they have destroyed a major bandits’ camp at TY Farm, along Takum - Wukari road and recovered one dane gun.

6 Brigade Nigerian Army, says the troops acting on credible intelligence on the activities of bandits around Unom, Yongogba, Tornyi, and Mbayongo villages in Takum Local Government Area, conducted a clearance patrol through Tor-Tser, Kofar Ahmadu, Tornyi, Unom, Mbayongo, and Yongogba villages. The operation successfully cleared the identified areas, including adjoining settlements and river lines.


It adds, during the operation, the troops received another intelligence at Kofar Ahmadu village that bandits were sighted around TY Farm in Tati. The troops immediately headed towards the area through Sabon Gida Tati and made contact with the criminals. Confronted with the troops’ superior firepower, the bandits fled deep into the forest.


On exploitation, the troops discovered and destroyed their major camp at TY Farm, effectively denying the criminals a safe haven. 


The clearance activities code-named OPERATION LAFIYA NAKOWA, aimed at flushing out hibernating bandits and terrorist elements within the Area of Responsibility of troops of 6 Brigade, Nigerian Army / Sector 3 Operation Whirl Stroke (OPWS) across Taraba State.


The Commander, 6 Brigade Nigerian Army / Sector 3 OPWS, Brigadier General Kingsley Chidiebere Uwa, commended the troops for their swift response, gallantry, and professionalism during the operation. He reaffirmed the Brigade’s unrelenting commitment to maintaining peace and security across Taraba State and urged residents to continue providing timely and credible information to aid ongoing operations.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
