  DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report.  VP Shettima Arrives Bauchi To Attend Funeral of Late Sheikhh Dahiru Usman Bauchi


Vice President Kashim Shettima has arrived in Bauchi, leading the Federal Government delegation to the funeral of the late Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi, one of the country’s most revered Islamic scholars whose lifelong devotion to knowledge and spiritual guidance shaped generations across Nigeria and beyond.


He departed Abuja earlier today at the behest of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and is accompanied by a strong delegation that includes the National Security Adviser, Malam Nuhu Ribadu; Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, Sen. Abubakar Kyari; Minister of Foreign Affairs, Amb. Yusuf Tuggar; Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Prof. Muhammad Ali Pate; Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris Malagi; Senators Abdulaziz Yari and Shehu Buba; along with senior presidential aides, Special Adviser to the President, Dr. Aliyu Modibbo Umar; Abdulaziz Abdulaziz, amongst others.


The Vice President will also condole with the bereaved family, the Tijjaniyya movement, and the wider Muslim community, and pray for God’s mercy upon Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi’s soul and for comfort for all who mourn him.
